Birtley District Cooperative Store
New Inn Corner / Spout Lane
Do you remember your Mother having a Co-op Store Membership No. and collecting her 'Divvy' ?
Buying at The Co-op was a form of saving and each Dividend Day was eagerly awaited.
You could buy anything at The Co-op from a pair of shoes to a funeral!
